ESTEREO: Geospatial production system using stereo virtual reality technologies and automatic change detection

The ESTEREO project aims to develop a photogrammetric station with stereoscopic vision to improve the production, analysis, and use of geospatial data by administrations and entities managing land and infrastructure. The solution proposed by INFRAPLAN combines virtual reality, computer vision, artificial intelligence, and deep learning technologies to facilitate the interpretation, updating, and management of geospatial information more efficiently. The system will be designed to enhance data from photogrammetry, mobile mapping, LiDAR, and other cartographic sources, enabling its visualization and use in immersive stereoscopic environments. The result will be a prototype capable of integrating into existing workflows and improving the production of geospatial data over large areas more quickly, cost-effectively, and accurately. With this approach, ESTEREO positions itself between the fields of Smart Cities and Electronic Administration, providing an innovative tool adapted to current technological needs for more efficient management of territory and infrastructure.
